About

Four pearls, four pillars, one bar

4PEARLS isn’t something started from scratch, it’s a coming together: four Frankfurt organisers who have so far each run their own nights are now making one place together.

The four

Who brings what

No roles on paper: four people who can each really do four different things.

Co-founder of the Sapphic Pearls collective. She makes sure people hear about 4PEARLS – and puts it most clearly why a permanent place is something different from a good party.

Bar & Operations

Years of experience behind the bar at La Gata. She knows how a night behind the bar really runs: orders, stock, rotas – and when it’s better to leave a glass where it is and just listen.

Networking & Social Media

Former owner of “Unique” and a FLINTA* activist in Frankfurt for a long time. Those years gave her a network few others have – and she carries it outwards, on Instagram and in person.

Four pillars become one place

Xtremeties, Sapphic Pearls, girls.only.l.a._event and Frau Eckstein have organised nights in Frankfurt for years – in borrowed rooms, with borrowed equipment, starting from scratch every time. 4PEARLS is the answer to the fact that nobody can keep that up for ever.

Xtremeties

Party series from the Rhine-Main area.

Sapphic Pearls

Collective for sapphic nights – and our namesake, too.

girls.only.l.a._event

Event series with a long guest list.

Frau Eckstein

Formats by Marion Eckstein, from years of Frankfurt scene history.

Where the name comes from

Four pearls

Four founders – and a nod to Sapphic Pearls, where part of the team comes from.

A pearl forms because something gets into the shell that doesn’t belong there. All the more fitting for a place that only exists because something was missing in this city.

“There are FLINTA* offerings, there are all sorts of parties … but they’re temporary, they don’t last”
